Lil uzi vert's song "you was right" is a song about him admitting his wrong doing for cheating on his girlfriend Brittaney with a groupie. This song, in particular, has some outstanding visual effect as compared to his other videos so I will be deconstructing it to find the meaning behind his choices of mise-en-scene, effects and his representations.
The music video for T-Shirts, on the other hand, was one of Migos's more conceptional videos because there was quite a lot of hidden messages given off by the location, choice of lyrics, props and mise-en-scene. Only a vast majority were able to understand what T-Shirts was really about since Migos tried to aim specifically at their target audience. I see this as very inspirational for when I make my music video because I want it to be something exclusively enjoyed by the people that listen to rap music which as a whole is going to make them enjoy it more.
A fairly good start. You could go into a lot more detail regarding the conventions used, especially the technical codes of the genre. You need to look at how this genre is constructed in terms of narrative, technical elements and character construction. You have made a solid attempt at this, but there are areas to develop further.
